To search any information online that is related to education, health, general knowledge etc., the first search engine that comes to our mind is Google. It can handle more than 3 million searches a day and gives relevant information that user required. But, the question is there no other search engine that provides valuable information? The answer is yes! There are nearly 8 search engines that give information on different categories in a speedy manner with a better search experience.

# Bing: Bing, previously known as Live Search, Windows Live Search, and MSN Search, is a web search engine from Microsoft. It is developed in a way that the search results are organized to provide answers for most of the queries. Once Google a big competitor criticized Bing for using user input via Internet Explorer, the Bing Toolbar, or Suggested Sites, to add results to Bing. However Microsoft’s spokesperson responded to this issue as, "We do not copy Google's results." In addition, the company claimed that Bing was not intended to be a duplicate of any existing search engines.

# CrunchBase: TechCrunch operates Crunch Base, a database of companies and start-ups, which comprises around 500,000 data points profiling companies, people, funds, fundings and events.
The company claims to have more than 50,000 active contributors and Crunch Base says it has 2 million users accessing its database each month.

# WolframAlpha: Wolfram Alpha is a computational knowledge engine or answer engine developed by Wolfram Research. It was released on May 15, 2009. Wolfram Alpha, the answer engine developed by Wolfram Research, is an online service that answers actual queries directly by computing the answer from externally sourced "curated data", than providing list of web pages that might contain the answer like all other search engine does.
 

# Blekko: Blekko Company’s site is launched to the public services on November 1, 2010. This search engine provides better search results than those offered by Google Search, with results gathered from a set of 3 billion trusted webpages and excluded from such sites as content farms.
 
# Quantcast: Quantcast specializes in audience management and real time advertising offering public access to traffic and demographic data for millions of web sites. # Technorati: Technorati is known for blog search engine. It is also a publisher advertising platform that serves as an advertiser for the thousands of websites. The name Technorati is a blend of words Technology and literati which invokes notion of technological intelligence or intellectualism.
 
# Topsy: Topsy is an Analytics company and social search engine that is a certified twitter partner keeping a complete index of tweets. This search engine helps to search, analyze and discover how often things are tweeted about.
