HP to provide IT infrastructure solution to CIBIL
Credit Information Bureau India Ltd (CIBIL) has selected American multinational IT Company Hewlett-Packard for enhancing the credit information provider’s IT operations to meet the requirements of expanding customer base. HP produces lines of printers, scanners, workstation computers, laptops and computers for home and small-business use.
CIBIL gives report and TransUnion score to approximately 1,000 banks and credit institutions, using their credit histories of over 340 million users and more than 17 million commercial transactions. CIBIL requires expanding its business operations for its growth with continued expansion of India’s financial services sector. By utilizing HP converged IT solutions, CIBIL will be able to move the resources from IT management to innovation. This effort makes CIBIL to provide quality services to its customers.
HP offers Blade system c700 server to allow CIBIL IT infrastructure to increase capacity without any extra capital investments. In order to run IT operations smoothly, HP provides high and medium level supports for software and hardware equipment of CIBIL. The main reason to select c700 blade system is to consolidate its HP BL 890i4 UNIX blade servers and HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000 storage into a converged IT infrastructure.
With this improved quality, HP solution will offer CIBIL to handle larger volumes of daily transactions and can easily provide the TransUnion report to its customers.
