Microsoft Plans to Expand IT Operations in Telangana

The Government of India had declared June 2nd as the appointed date for Telangana as a new state. Now the latest news is that multinational software company Microsoft is planning to expand its IT operations in Telangana and the same was announced on Monday. Regarding to this, Bhaskar Pramanik the chairman of Microsoft India met Telangana chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and had long discussions about the expansion plans.

In this discussion, Pramanik explained about all the expansion activities of Microsoft India to Chandrasekhar Rao. Telangana Information technology Minister K.T. Rama Rao was also present at the discussion with Microsoft. This meeting has scheduled a day after reports that Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella will be visiting Hyderabad next month.

After Satya Nadella took over as a CEO, this will be first visit to Hyderabad early this year. As a part of his visit, Nadella will meet both states Chief ministers K. Chandrasekhar Rao and N. Chandrababu Naidu. Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu has invited Nadella to his swearing-in ceremony last month. Now, both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states are going to welcome Microsoft CEO to raise the IT growth.

Naidu is planning to put his complete efforts to get Microsoft to start IT operations in Nadella’s native district in Anantapur district, AP. This startup will boost the backward and remote areas of Rayalaseema region. Currently, both the states feeling prestigious to grab the attention of Microsoft and making them to invest in required manner.
