Infosys fired BPO Unit CFO for Overbilling Apple

Infosys has fired BPO unit CFO Abraham Mathews for violating Code of Conduct. Infosys BPO CEO Gautam Thakkar also submitted his resignation taking responsibility on Moral grounds. The release said that Mathews' "departure is in keeping with the company's goal of setting the highest standards of corporate governance and adhering to the letter and spirit of the company's code of conduct."
Infosys did not provide any further details, but sources close to the company said the issue involved is Overbilling Apple, this issue has been found while doing internal audit. Abraham Mathews is the CFO of Infosys BPO since 2003. Gautam Thakkar has been in Infosys BPO since 2000 & appointed as CEO on January 2013.
Infosys named Anup Uppadhayay as CEO & MD of BPO unit & and Deepak Bhalla as CFO, Anup Uppadhayay joined Infosys in 1993 and was most recently SVP and global head of delivery for financial services. Deepak Bhalla joined Infosys in 1998 and most recently served as associate VP and head of corporate accounting group.
