Telegram messenger is gaining Popularity in India with one rumor
Narendra Modi started ‘Make in India’ campaign and the company that seems to be gaining the most from this is Russia based Telegram messenger.
Telegram is witnessing great traction in India, because of a rumor that is floating on WhatsApp. WhatsApp Users are sharing why one should not use WhatsApp and why everybody should instead switch to Telegram, as the slogan is a ‘Made in India’ product which is not really the actual case.
Telegram Messenger is a cross-platform instant messaging app with a focus on speed and security and a good alternative to WhatsApp. Using Telegram Messenger app you can send video, pictures, share all kinds of files of any size. It also supports group chats with up to 200 contacts, puts a strong emphasis on security and provides generous multimedia support.
Globally, the company has gained massive visibility and popularity (mainly because of WhatsApp’ blueticks – which is a bit of privacy issue) in the last two days and we guess, several reasons are playing a part here.
Apart from this, Telegram provides several interesting features – notably message destruction and document sharing, making it a viable alternative to WhatsApp.To conclude, Telegram is NOT at all an Indian company, but if you are perturbed by WhatsApp blueticks, go ahead and try installing Telegram.
